Today I wanted to share some tips for finding the perfect photos and videos for your website that align with your brand message.

I always recommend having a Brand Photoshoot if at all possible, but even so you may still find the need for a few website ‘filler' photos.

If you are having a hard time finding photos and videos for your website, or if you're just looking for a few new photos or a video to give your website a quick refresh- then keep reading below!

Stock Photography

When you're looking for stock photography, there are a few ways to approach it. I always suggest using a good mix of your own brand photos and some stock photos when possible. However, if you can only use stock photos, there are many options out there if you take some time to look around.

These are my favorite places to find stock photos for your website:

  1. Social Squares
  2. Sourced Co.
  3. Pexels
  4. Unsplash
  5. Creative Market
  6. AdobeStock
  7. iStock
  8. Styled Stock

Videos

When at all possible, add video to your website! I love that it brings movement and interactive elements to a web design, which keep users interested and engaged. *Remember, if you are using Showit- videos can be no larger than 8MB.

These are my favorite places to find videos for your website:

  1. Pexels
  2. Coverr
  3. Pixabay
  4. AdobeStock

I hope this helps you on your website building journey, and gives you some ideas of where to look for photos and videos.

If you haven't yet done so, you can grab the FREE Alice Website Template for Showit and see how easy it is to swap out the photos and videos with just one click!
